FEEDING THERAPY FOR PICKY EATERS
Developmental Delays • Sensory Aversions • Limited Food Inventory • Autism• G-Tube Dependency
At A Piece of the Puzzle Therapy, feeding therapy aims to transform mealtimes for picky eaters into enjoyable family experiences. Our approach is individualized and guided by the foods and traditions that are important to your family. Feeding therapy focuses on:
Accepting New Foods: Your child will go from resistance to tolerance because we make trying new foods enjoyable and less stressful.
Increasing Food Variety: Your child will enjoy a wider range of food because we identify key food types to concentrate on to meet their nutritional needs.
Our responsive approach to feeding therapy blends fun activities with research-based therapy techniques. We use the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) approach and Division of Responsibility. As a result, your child will safely manage more food textures and feel less anxious at mealtimes which will make mealtimes more enjoyable for the whole family.
